Meet tsinvari, the Storyteller

Also known as Rene, I'm originally from Bolivia, though I've spent most of my life moving between countries and languages. I write poetry and short stories, mostly in English and Spanish. I write because it helps me ground my thoughts and understand myself. In that process, I build realities that challenge what I live.

My work circles around a few questions: What happens when you live between cultures? How do the stories we tell ourselves shape what we see? What gets lost and found in translation—not just of words, but of entire ways of being? How is love affected by that? How about dreams?

I'm interested in the spaces between things—between languages, between the life you're living and the one you imagined, between home and wherever you find yourself.
