tsinvari is an ancient word for spirits that appear at dusk — in the space between day and night, between one world and another.

He is René Michel. Originally from Bolivia. Writing from Luxembourg. Shaped by six countries and seven languages, none of them perfectly.

He writes poetry and short stories. Since 2024, he publishes The In-Between— a weekly Sunday journal where prose and poetry meet in the territory where neither is quite enough.

His work circles the spaces between things: between languages, between the life you're living and the one you imagined, between who you were and who you are becoming.

If you've ever felt permanently in-between — his writing might already know your name..
